Our Flagship product : myBillBook
myBillBook is India’s leading GST billing & accounting software with mobile, web app & native desktop offerings and runs on Android as well as iOS. myBillBook has been designed to aid SMB owners to conduct their operations from anywhere and anytime and provides a secure platform for business owners to record transactions & track business performance on the go. It helps them create bills (GST & non-GST), record purchases & expenses, manage inventory and track payables/receivables directly from their mobile phones or computers, and generates 25 critical business reports that help business owners make effective business decisions. myBillBook is currently available in English, Hindi, Gujarati & Tamil.
Currently, the app has been downloaded by over 6.5M SMBs across the country with over 10x growth in user base in the last 12 months alone. Even with such pace of adoption of the product, myBillBook continues to be the highest rated application in its category on Google Play Store and Apple AppStore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, maintain and optimise features and components of the myBillBook iOS app, with a focus on quality, performance and reliability.
- Work with a builder mindset and collaborate across cross-functional teams to unblock and accelerate delivery. No role silos.
- Use LLM-assisted tools (Claude, Cursor, AI-powered code review and testing) as a core part of how you build, to accelerate development velocity and improve code quality.
- Take ownership of the components you build, including edge cases, testing and production issues, and communicate progress and blockers transparently.
- Write clean, readable and maintainable Swift code, and understand every change you ship, including AI-assisted code.
- Contribute to feature discussions and engineering best practices, and grow your craft with support from senior engineers.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in iOS software development, building and shipping applications.
- BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong software development skills in Swift.
- Working experience with Xcode and core iOS frameworks such as UIKit, SwiftUI and Foundation.
- Ability to read and understand existing code before changing it, which matters more when working with AI tools, not less.
- Working knowledge of Git and code-review practices.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and integrating backend services.
- Comfort using LLM-assisted development tools, or a strong eagerness to adopt them.
- A fast learner who is eager to grow within our tech stack.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Flutter or other cross-platform development.
- Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMM).
- Production experience with SwiftUI.
- Experience developing and publishing apps on the App Store.
- Experience working in a startup environment.
