Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior engineers to design, develop and maintain backend services for our products.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality code.
- Contribute to building and enhancing our scalable systems to handle high traffic.
- Work with different teams including Frontend, QA and DevOps to integrate and deliver backend solutions.
- Learn and contribute to the development of microservices, APIs and other backend infrastructure.
- Explore and apply AI-driven tools and workflows in your daily development tasks, with mentorship, to boost efficiency and contribute to modern software engineering practices.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language (Java, Ruby).
- Understanding of Web Dev frameworks like Ruby on Rails or Spring Boot.
- Fundamental knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of software engineering principles such as OOPS, DRY, SOLID etc.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for coding, problem-solving, and technology.
- Prior internship or project experience in backend development.
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI can be leveraged in software development, including a willingness to adopt AI-assisted workflows and tools.
